Melbourne Aces add a pair of Sox

The Melbourne Aces have named two of their imports for the coming season, with Adam Engel and Nick Blount joining the side from the Chicago White Sox organisation.

The pair are currently members of the Winston-Salem Dash, who are managed by current Melbourne Aces manager Tommy Thompson. Engel has shown himself to be able to gain some airtime in the field as shown in the video below.

Nick Blount however is more of an unknown commodity, having a career record of 4-4 and having missed the first half of the season after serving a 50 game ban for a positive test for an amphetamine.

In another life I spent a lot of my time playing sport, so I feel lucky now knowing I get to write and talk about it. Time is also invested in education (both my own and others) and finding another new restaurant to try.
